Neurological Conditions

Moving well with a neurological condition.

Living with Parkinson's, MS, or another neurological condition changes your relationship with your body. What used to feel automatic — balance, coordination, the confidence to move freely — can become something that requires thought, effort, and sometimes courage.

This is a space where that reality is understood. You won't need to explain yourself, simplify your experience, or manage anyone else's discomfort. Claudia’s experience and training over the years has developed a specialist understanding of how neurological conditions affect movement — and how the right approach can genuinely make a difference.

The Approach

Your sensory system is part of the work.

Neuro-informed movement isn't an add-on. It's at the heart of everything Claudia does. By drawing on neuroscience principles alongside Pilates, sessions are designed to work with your sensory system — not around it.

This means working with feedback, sensory awareness, and patterns of movement that help your brain and body reconnect. Progress may look different here than in a standard fitness setting — and that's intentional. The goal isn't performance. It's function, confidence, and quality of movement in your everyday life.

"Claudia has taught me that specific sensory input is key. I've benefited so much from the way she works.”

What this can help with

  • Balance and fall prevention

  • Coordination and motor control

  • Posture and alignment

  • Fatigue management through movement

  • Body awareness and proprioception

  • Confidence in everyday movement

How sessions work

No two sessions are pre-planned. Claudia works with what is available and what is needed by you, on that day. This is especially important for neurological conditions, where symptoms, energy levels and capacity can vary significantly from one session to the next.

Sessions are available 1-to-1 in the East Sheen studio or online via Zoom.

This is for you if...

  • You have a neurological condition and want movement support that truly understands your experience

  • You've been told to 'stay active' but nobody has told you how — safely and specifically

  • You want to work with someone who adapts in real time, not someone following a fixed programme

  • You're a carer or family member looking for support for someone you love

Do get in touch!

The first conversation is always free. Claudia will take the time to understand your situation fully before recommending anything.
